Rod Mayer

Rod Mayer brings 25 years of progressive aviation and project management experience to Siegel-Gallagher. Since 2001, Mayer has led his own company offering Airline Liaison and Airline Technical Representative Services, most recently at Milwaukee, WI, and Myrtle Beach, SC. He has also provided construction, real estate development and owner representation services on commercial projects throughout the Midwest. He has demonstrated success in the area of project and construction management, especially on complicated, multi-phased airport, retail and office projects. Recent airport projects he has directed include: C, D and E Concourse redevelopment, and Airline Ticket Office and Baggage Make-Up Reconfiguration at Mitchell International Airport. Mayer’s experience includes a 13 year career with Midwest Airlines, Legend Airlines where he was responsible for airport affairs, properties and facilities, and airline operations at major airports. In this role Mayer opened countless stations, directed literally hundreds of construction and facilities projects, sat on multiple AAAC and Technical Committees and established a strong presence as a key player at the negotiating table.

Mayer’s expertise allows him to excel in roles as Airline Liaison Officer, Airline Technical Representative, and Owners Representative or as a construction/project manager. Mayer has negotiated airport leases, architectural, consultant and construction service agreements. He believes that involvement at the front-end of projects, with scoping and vetting activities, is the key to success in bringing a project in on time and on or under budget, while meeting and exceeding the client’s expectations.
