David L. Behnke joined Siegel-Gallagher Management Company in 1999, after 15 years of experience with some of the most prestigious real estate organizations in the world. Behnke spent seven years with Jones Lang LaSalle and COMPASS Management & Leasing, Inc., where he was responsible for a variety of high-profile Midwest office buildings. These buildings included 333 W. Wacker Drive (836,000 sq. ft.), 2 N. LaSalle (640,000 sq. ft.), Madison Plaza (1 million sq. ft.), and 401 N. Michigan Avenue (735,000 sq. ft.) in Chicago; and the US Bank Building (1.3 million sq. ft.) in Milwaukee.

Behnke previously was with Jacobs Brothers Group, the second largest shopping mall developer in the United States. As part of the development team, his chief responsibilities included consulting on facility design elements of Key Corp. Building in Cleveland, Ohio, a multi-faceted project that featured a 63-story 1.3 million square foot office tower, 454-room hotel, a historic 10-story bank building, a 909-car parking garage as well as a City park. After completion of the development, Behnke had charge of all building and property operations.

Behnke's specific expertise includes property start-up, strategic asset management turnaround, portfolio management, facility management and construction management, with a focus on substantial cost savings and implementation of improvements for clients.
