Matson Holbrook joined Siegel-Gallagher in 2010 as part of the Investment Properties Group where he specializes in the analysis, marketing and sales efforts for income-producing and distressed properties throughout Southeastern Wisconsin and the Midwest.

Prior to returning to his hometown of Milwaukee, Matson most recently worked for ING Clarion Partners in New York as a Senior Associate in the Research & Investment Strategy department where he focused on top-down market analysis and strategic planning. Previously, he built a solid foundation in the real estate industry in both New York and San Francisco, honing his skill set around market research, consulting and investment advisory platforms. In addition to his commercial real estate expertise, Matson gained international business exposure in London managing the distribution and logistics activities of an entrepreneurial, commodities-based firm (sugar/ethanol focus).

With past experience delivering timely and salient work products to institutional clients, Matson has had the opportunity to compose numerous real-estate-related
white papers. One of his investment white papers, Restructuring Infrastructure,” was published in the March/April 2009 edition of CIRE Magazine, the magazine of the CCIM Institute. This article, along with other contributions, is also featured in Active Private Equity Real Estate Strategy, a book published as part of the Frank J. Fabozzi Series by John Wiley & Sons in August 2009.

Matson earned a Master of Science degree in Real Estate from New York University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Cartography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the University of Wisconsin. He is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), a licensed real estate salesperson in Wisconsin and an active member of the City of Mequon Economic Development Board and the Wisconsin Green Building Alliance.
